Cape Cod Charters is owned and operated by Captain Ed Cestaro and is based out of North Eastham, Massachusetts, although all of the Outer Cape and the surrounding waters are Cape Cod Charter's "playground." Ed is your personal guide for all fishing trips. Ed, with his wife Melissa, leads the natural history tours.

Captain Ed Cestaro When Ed was 5 years old his dad moved his family to Cape Cod after he caught a monster striper in Cape Cod Canal. Ed has lived in Eastham since then and grew up fishing both recreationally and commercially. Currently Ed fishes commercially (with rod and reel) for bluefin tuna, stripers, bluefish, and codfish. Ed earned his captain's licence in 1999. License # 893072 He has captained boats for the Audubon Society and UMASS for sea turtle and horseshoe crab research.

Melissa Lowe Cestaro Melissa is a professional environmental educator and has worked for Mass Audubon and other conservation organizations since 1991. Among her interests are hiking, bicycling, kayaking, and birding. She is familiar with children's activities, as well as leading adult tours, so bring your family.
